BIC + IBAN is not available in the United States of America, nor is it likely to be, with the decentralized structure of the US banking system and lack of nationwide banks. Sometimes when you send money, bank staff may look them up for you so you may not be aware. The Swift numbers are valid worldwide.
The SWIFT Bank Identification Code is an internationally-recognized system of codes for identifying banks (see ISO 9362). You can try the website that deals with SWIFT or BIC codes. A BIC can be combined with the details provided by the IBAN to provide automated international funds transfers.
