Electronic account-to-account transfers are often called wire or ACH transfers in the USA. IBAN and other types of codes are sometimes requested in conjunction with SWIFT Codes International Bank Account Number (IBAN) European countries have adopted a standard known as an International Bank Account Number (IBAN). Those transfer interfaces that require an 11 digit code would enter NEDSZAJJXXX. These codes are used when transferring money between banks, particularly for international wire transfers, and also for the exchange of other messages between banks. All of that problem just for the sake to ask for a SWIFT codes. But if your asking customers to pay you via bank transfer they may request it.
